Christmas 2006
Christmas Line Bar
Howdy from Texas! Another year has flown by as Bob and I have entered into our 70th year and our 30th year together as husband and wife. WHEW - where does the time go anyway?

We continue to keep active with bowling [both], square dancing [both], tennis [Leona], softball [Bob], have sleep-overs with Logan and hanging out with our friends playing various card games. Our only travel this year was a trip to visit Sharon in Colorado. Rob & family came to visit us in the summer and we had an enjoyable visit with them as well as with Sharon. We both love being retired and grateful we have our health and are able to participate in all our activities.

Steve Family

Steve, Rhonda and Shawn did receive some unpleasant news in October when Rhonda was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. She was able to have the entire tumor removed; but she is currently undergoing a six-month chemotherapy program. Shawn is a senior at Mayde Creek High School and plans to enter the Army upon graduation in May of 2007. They stay pretty busy taking care of their two dogs, Sammy & Lady.
Sharon is currently living in Boulder, Colorado and is an assistant manager for the Banana Republic store at the Flat Irons Crossing Mall. She continues to run, bike, practice Yoga, and is doing some swimming. Her current boyfriend is Gregory who lives in the area and spends time with Sharon on the bike and running trails. We got to meet Gregory when we visited in August. He also spends time with Sharon's dog, Savannah, taking her swimming and on long walks when Sharon has to work late.

Stuart & Family
The Stuart Spuler family has spread out a little bit as Abby is a freshman at the University of Texas in Austin this year studying civil engineering and Zak & his wife, Megan, still reside in Florida. Logan is in first grade at Ferguson Elementary School, which he loves. The family went skiing in Colorado for spring break and Zak & Megan were able to join them. No broken limbs for anyone although Zak was under the weather part of the time. Stuart works for Vision Analytic and Linda is a NASA employee working in the Program Integration office.

Rob and family visited us in the summer and we had a wonderful time with them and were able to celebrate Jeffrey's 6th birthday while they were here. We went to see Body Worlds at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, spent some time at Moody Gardens & Galveston beach, as well as Space Center Houston and the Kemah Boardwalk.
